COCKTAIL RECIPES​

​

We asked a couple of expert Portland mixologists to channel our Oregon roots to create cocktails highlighting all of the offerings from our beautiful state.

Hermiston Mule

Crisp and refreshing with a great ginger bite, highlighted by the watermelon iconic to summer celebrations.

​

2oz Double Circle Vodka
1oz Ginger Liqueur (New Deal)
1oz Fresh Lime Juice
3oz Fresh Watermelon Juice (syrup if needed)

 

Shake. Strain into Collins glass. Standard ice. Garnish with watermelon wedge and lime wheel.

Fieldborn Martini

Clean yet complex, this martini showcases perfection through simplicity with native botanicals and local vermouth.

2.5oz Double Circle Vodka
.5oz Dry Vermouth (Ransom)
.25oz NW Martini Syrup*

​

Stir. Served up in coupe or martini glass. Garnish with lemon swath.

​

Double Circle Vodka Blonde

Sweet and tart balance of grapefruit juice combined with DCS Vodka, Lillet Blanc and splash of St. Germain, resulting in cocktail perfection! 

​

.75oz Double Circle Columbia Plateau Vodka
.75oz Lillet Blanc
.75oz Fresh Grapefruit Juice

.25oz St. Germain Elderflower Liqueur

.25oz Fresh Lemon Juice

​

In cocktail shaker filled with ice, combine the DCS Vodka, Lillet Blanc, grapefruit juice, St Germain and lemon juice. Shake well. Strain into glass and garnish with grapefruit wedge.

​

Lavender Lemonade

Delicious and Refreshing. Tastes and smells like Summertime! Highlighted by subtle notes of fresh lavender botanicals. ENJOY!

​

2oz Double Circle Lavender Vodka
2oz Lemonade - Regular or Sugar Free
2oz Club Soda or Lemon Flavored Sparkling Water

​

Fill tall glass with ice and a few fresh lemon wheels.

Add Lavender Vodka and Lemonade. Stir.

Top with club soda or lemon flavored sparkling water.

​

Garnish with lavender sprig and lemon wheel.

​

Cascadia Collins

Invigorating and bright, this whiskey collins wakes up the senses with its balance of citrus and shrub.

2oz Double Circle Wheated Bourbon
1oz Lemon Juice
.75oz Simple Syrup
2oz Cascadia Raspberry Shrub (DrinkShrub)


Shake. Strain into Collins glass with standard ice cubes. Garnish with fresh raspberry and lemon wheel.

Earl Old Fashioned

Rich and complex, enjoy the layers of flavor this Old Fashioned has balanced between whiskey and tea.

2oz Double Circle Wheated Bourbon
.25oz Lord Bergamot Syrup*
2 dashes Aromatic Bitters (Portland Bitters Project)

 

Stir. Served in Old Fashioned glass with large ice cubes. Garnish with orange swath.

Arabica Bracer

The perfect combination of whiskey and coffee, this may be your new favorite way to enjoy an evening pick-me-up.

​

2oz Double Circle Straight Wheat Whiskey
.75oz Hazelnut Orgeat (BG Reynolds)
.5oz Cold Brew Coffee (Stumptown)
.5oz Cascara Liqueur (New Deal)
3oz Soda Water

 

Shake. Strain into Collins glass with standard ice cubes. Garnish with orange swath.

Rose City Julep

Strength with just the right amount of softness, you'll crave this Julep on more than just race day.

​

3oz Double Circle Straight Wheat Whiskey
.5oz Rose Cordial (Portland Soda Works)
1 dash Cardamom Bitters (Scrappys)
Handful of Fresh Mint Leaves

​

Muddle. Served in Julep cup with crushed ice. Garnish with fresh mint bunch.

​

Syrup recipes

*Lord Bergamot Syrup (2:1)

 

Ingredients per 750mL:

6 cups (1500g) White Sugar

3 cups (740g) Water

1 tbsp (10g) Smith Tea – Lord Bergamot

 

Process:

  1.  Bring water to a boil, then remove from heat and add tea, let steep for 10 minutes then strain out tea and add sugar, stir to dissolve.

  2.  Let cool, then strain and bottle.

 

Keep sealed and refrigerate when not in use

*NW Martini Syrup

​

Ingredients per 750mL:
3 cups (740g) White Sugar
3 cups (740g) Water
2 tbsp (20g) Juniper Berries (whole)
1.5 tbsp (15g) Coriander (whole)
1 tbsp (10g) Sagebrush
Zest of 1 medium lemon


Process:

  1. Bring water to a boil, then remove from heat and add botanicals, let steep for 10 minutes then strain out solids and add sugar, stir to dissolve.

  2. Let cool, then strain and bottle.


Keep sealed and refrigerate when not in use
